This is a funny term but a fantastic way of Marketing which I recently went across. This mode of marketing has many facets but prime features of it are as follows:-

Target Segment:-
Existing Customers! Hence emphasis is on retention or defending own customers from competition rather acquiring new one.

Modus Operandi:-
—>Canopy activities at public places where Giveaways and free gifts offered.
—> Unconventional marketing ideas which focusses on human psychology rather than experimenting.
—> Implementation steps are hit and trial, experimenting and judge those marketing stunts which are not popular.
—> This type of marketing requires time, a lot of energy and imagination instead of money.
—> Small businesses and entrepreneurs which are finding foot holds In the market implement this strategy.


With these tactics the entrepreneurs and the SMEs grabs the market slowly and hence often turned out to be market movers. The market is a war field, competitors are your Enemies and the marketing is warfare cautiously choose your warfare(marketing tact) or else your enemy(Competition) perish upon you.
